I feel that assumptions should not be used to make actual judgments. Every bodies opinions on people (among other things) can all be based off of assumptions. I find that the only way someone can make real judgement on you is if they see for themselves situations, as a WHOLE instead of out of context. Peoples perceptions of you can be changed so easily and simply, and it could be something you wouldn't even notice. Say, someones wearing these hideous knit hats and mittens that no on in their right mind would wear, this person is likely to then be seen for having really bad 'style' because of this. It is less likely that you would perceive it as that person trying to please someone who spent time and effort to make them something.

Someone says speaks oddly when people try to talk to him/her, can be perceived as illiterate or retarded (for lack of better word) where as this person could have either not understood fully, or is so scared of saying the wrong thing that their mind goes into panic. In both of these examples I have attempted to show how wrongly some things can be perceived giving someone a bad idea of a good intention. But that's not the only type of assumptions there are that I've experienced. There are also assumptions that do the complete opposite and make people with bad intentions look like their doing the opposite. My point here is that assumptions are misleading and annoying and unfair. I see way too much of assumptions being seen as actual information confusing people away from the truth. Don't get me wrong, sometimes assumptions are sometimes right but are still unreliable because of the amount of times they are proven to be wrong.
